Sharon Fisher Memorial Walk – LaConner Y1279

Distance: 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles)
Location: La Conner Waterfront Park 3rd St and Sherman St, LaConner, WA
DIRECTIONS:from I-5: I-5 Exit Burlington exit 230 to Hwy 20 West. Follow signs toward Anacortes. Turn left at the stop light toward La Conner. In 3.8 mile take 1st RIGHT on roundabout onto Morris St. In 500 ft. turn LEFT onto Maple. In .4 miles turn RIGHT onto Caldonia. At first stop sign LEFT onto Third St. and at stop sign, turn RIGHT onto Sherman St. Follow road around under orange bridge. Park at La Conner Waterfront Park.
Walk past the marina and along the beautiful Swinomish Channel. Take some time to browse First Street with its’ unique gift shops and galleries. Enjoy the view from Pioneer Park while reading historic markings. There are many restaurants and fun sculptures along the way. La Conner is Skagit County’s oldest community and has many historic sites. Three Restrooms: Downtown LaConner (2k from start), near waterfront, and Pioneer Park.

Annual Turkey Trot
Date: Saturday, November 28, 2026
Start: 9:00AM-10:30AM
Distance: 10KM (6.2 miles) and 5KM (3.1 miles)
Location: Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers Street, Edmonds, WA
DIRECTIONS: I-5: Exit #179 (220th SW). NORTHBOUND LEFT/SOUTHBOUND RIGHT. RIGHT on 9th Ave S. LEFT on Caspers St to Edmonds United Methodist Church on LEFT.
Walk on paved surface on a 5km (3.1 mile) walk in downtown Edmonds, or a 10km (6.2 mile) walk in Yost Park and Woodway. 5km walk is suitable for wheel chairs and strollers.
Water at the beginning of walk. Restrooms are available at Ferry Terminal, 5th and Main, and the church. Pets permitted but not in buildings. Owners responsible for leash and clean up laws.
Donations of non-perishable food items or cash for the Edmonds Food Bank are appreciated.
