Event comments
The neighborhoods of southeastern Shoreline enclose 5 parks, newly rebuilt middle and high schools and a new light rail station. We'll use quiet residential streets and trails to explore them all, starting with the flagship Hamlin Park. Hamlin has picnic areas, wooded trails, and a memorial to the first battle of the Spanish-American war. Paramount School Park includes a skate park, baseball fields, a walking path, and picnic areas. Paramount Open Space, South Woods Park, and Northcrest Park are wooded oases that invite further exploration.
